I address my comments to all senior citizens who feel shuffling while walking, bone loss, poor posture and muscle loss and fatigue are a natural progression of aging. What old-fashioned thinking! Through the expert guidance of Gerri McLaughlin, a certified Pilates instructor and body builder, I am a living testament that none of the above conditions needs to happen as one ages. As a senior citizen, I have gained strength and balance through weight-llifting and Pilates resistance training and core strengthening. I continue to progress and cannot imagine living my life without these physical advantages in my senior years. Through Gerri's exptertise and her enlightenment on the physical needs of seniors, I'm in very capable hands. How grateful I am to Gerri McLaughlin!

"I started taking Pilates with Gerri McLaughlin at Great To Be Fit last summer and enjoyed it from the beginning.  Gerri made it easy to follow her instructions and fun at the same time!  I just go once a week. Before I knew it, I had lost 10 lbs. and went down a size in my clothes without even trying!  That was just a bonus that came naturally!  The only bad thing is now I need to buy a new wardrobe!  I also now have the stamina to jog with my husband!  I never jogged before this because I couldn't keep up with him, but suddenly (because of Pilates) it's no problem and very fun! I'm thrilled so far with my Pilates experience and only see more wonderful things coming from it in the future!"
